✧ Find for us a servant from your young men to serve me. He said: So Abu Talhah went out with me, riding me behind him. I continued to serve the Messenger of God ﷺ whenever he halted. I kept hearing him frequently say: O God, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, from the burden of debt, and from being overpowered by men. I did not cease serving him until we returned from Khaybar, and he returned with Safiyyah bt. Huyayy, having taken her as his share. I saw him doing so, making a seat for her behind him with a cloak or a blanket, then seating her behind him. When we were at al-Sahba', he prepared hays on a leather mat, then sent me, and I invited men, and they ate. That was his wedding feast for her. Then he set out until Uhud appeared to him, and he said: This is a mountain that loves us and we love it. When he overlooked Madinah, he said: O God, I declare sacred what lies between its two mountains just as Ibrahim declared Makkah sacred. O God, bless them in their mudd and their sa'.
