حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ، كَانَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ يَرْمِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، وَرَسُولُ اللهِ خَلْفَهُ، وَكَانَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ رَجُلًا رَامِيًا، وَكَانَ إِذَا رَمَى رَفَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ شَخْصَهُ يَنْظُرُ أَيْنَ يَقَعُ سَهْمُهُ

Translation

✧ Abū Ṭalḥah al-Anṣārī was shooting on the day of Uḥud in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, with the Messenger of Allah behind him. Abū Ṭalḥah was an archer, and whenever he shot, the Prophet ﷺ would raise himself to see where his arrow landed.
