✧ The Basrans from Anas

وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ ; قَالَ:
كَانَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى أَثَرِ مَوْضِعِ نَبْلِهِ، قَالَ: فَيَتَطَاوَلُ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ نَفْسِي لِنَفْسِكَ الْفِدَاءُ، أَوْ قَالَ: نَحْرِي دُونَ نَحْرِكَ.
Translation
✧ Abu Talha was in front of the Prophet ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was raising his head looking at the spot where his arrows fell. He said: Abu Talha stretched himself up and said: O Messenger of Allah, may my soul be a ransom for yours, or he said: my neck before your neck.
