حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ:
لَوْ كَانَ لِابْنِ آدَمَ نَخْلٌ لَتَمَنَّى إِلَيْهِ مِثْلَهُ، وَلَا يَمْلَأُ جَوْفَ ابْنِ آدَمَ إِلَّا التُّرَابُ
Translation

✧ If the son of Adam had a palm grove, he would wish for another like it, and nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust.
