✧ Two men entered upon the Messenger of God ﷺ and asked him about the price of a camel, and he helped them with two dinars. They went out from his presence, and 'Umar met them. They spoke well and thanked what the Messenger of God ﷺ had done for them. 'Umar entered upon the Prophet ﷺ and informed him of what they had said. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'But so-and-so, I gave him between ten and a hundred, and he did not say that. Indeed, one of them asks me and goes away with his request, carrying it under his arm, and it is nothing but fire.' 'Umar said: 'You give us what is fire?' He said: 'They refuse except to ask me, and God refuses stinginess for me.'
