حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ قَالَ:

رَأَيْنَا عِنْدَ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ كِتَابًا كَتَبَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقُ لِأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ حِينَ بَعَثَهُ عَلَى صَدَقَةِ الْبَحْرَيْنِ، عَلَيْهِ خَاتَمُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فِيهِ مِثْلُ هَذَا الْقَوْلِ

Translation

✧ We saw with Thumama b. Abd Allah b. Anas a letter that Abu Bakr al-Siddiq wrote for Anas b. Malik when he sent him to collect the zakat of al-Bahrayn, bearing the seal of the Prophet ﷺ, containing a statement like this.
