عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ
" أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَأَى فِي أَصْحَابِهِ تَأَخُّرًا، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ: تَقَدَّمُوا فَأْتَمُّوا بِي، وَلْيَأْتَمَّ بِكُمْ مَنْ بَعْدَكُمْ، وَلَا يَزَالُ قَوْمٌ يَتَأَخَّرُونَ حَتَّى يُؤَخِّرَهُمُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ
Translation
Chain of narrators

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw among his companions some lingering behind, so he said to them: 'Come forward and follow me, and let those behind you follow you. A people will continue to lag behind until Allah, Mighty and Majestic, puts them behind.'
