✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ gave us a sermon and said: God is allowing—meaning with regard to wine—so whoever has any of it, let him sell it and benefit from it. Only a short while later the Messenger of God ﷺ said: "God has forbidden wine, so whoever this verse reaches, let him neither sell nor drink." He said: The people then took what they had of it and poured it out in the streets of Madinah.
