✧ Talha b. Musarrif from Anas

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ:

كَانَ عِنْدَ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ خَمْرٌ لِأَيْتَامٍ، فَلَمَّا نَزَلَ تَحْرِيمُ الْخَمْرِ ذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: أَهْرِقْهُ

Translation

✧ Abu Talha had wine belonging to orphans. When the prohibition of wine was revealed, that was mentioned to the Prophet ﷺ and he said: 'Pour it out.'
