حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ، عَنْ فِرَاسٍ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

" لَقَدْ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ عَبْدٌ مَا عَمِلَ خَيْرًا قَطُّ. قَالَ لِأَهْلِهِ حِينَ حَضَرَتْهُ الْوَفَاةُ: إِنْ أَنَا مُتُّ فَأَحْرِقُونِي، ثُمَّ اسْحَقُونِي، ثُمَّ اذْرُوا نِصْفِي فِي الْبَحْرِ وَنِصْفِي فِي الْبَرِّ، فَأَمَرَ الْبَحْرَ وَالْبَرَّ فَجَمَعَاهُ، فَقَالَ: مَا حَمَلَكَ عَلَى مَا صَنَعْتَ ؟ قَالَ: مَخَافَتُكَ، فَغَفَرَ لَهُ بِذَلِكَ

Translation

✧ A servant entered Paradise who had never done any good. When death came to him, he said to his family: 'When I die, burn me, then crush me, then scatter half of me in the sea and half of me on land.' Then God commanded the sea and the land, and they gathered him. He said: 'What made you do what you did?' He said: 'Fear of You,' and He forgave him for that.
