حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بِمِنًى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ
الْقَدَرِيَّةُ مَجُوسُ هَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ إِنْ مَرِضُوا فَلاَ تَعُودُوهُمْ وَإِنْ مَاتُوا فَلاَ تَشْهَدُوهُمْ

The Prophet ﷺ said: The Qadariyyah are the Magians of this community. If they are ill, do not pay a sick visit to them, and if they die, do not attend their funerals.

machine translationIt is narrated by al-Jaʿīd b. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, who is trustworthy (thiqah); al-Ḥakam b. Saʿīd al-Saʿīdī narrated it from him. Zakariyyā b. Manẓūr al-Anṣārī narrated it from Abū Ḥāzim al-Madanī, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, from the Prophet ﷺ, and Zakariyyā was mistaken in it. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. Abī Ḥāzim contradicted him and narrated it from his father, from Ibn ʿUmar as his own statement, without mentioning Nāfiʿ. It is also narrated from Mālik, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, as raised to the Prophet (marfūʿ), but that is false (bāṭil) from Mālik. It is narrated from ʿUmar the freedman of Ghufrah, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, from the Prophet ﷺ; so said al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī al-Ḥasanī. Others said: from ʿUmar the freedman of Ghufrah, from ʿUmar b. Muḥammad, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, and he raised it. Al-Thawrī and Ibn Wahb narrated it from ʿUmar b. Muḥammad, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar as a statement stopping at him (mawqūf). ʿUmar the freedman of Ghufrah has another chain for it, in which he said: from a man, from Ḥudhayfah, from the Prophet ﷺ. It is also narrated from al-Thawrī, from ʿUmar the freedman of Ghufrah, from Ibn ʿUmar, from the Prophet ﷺ; but the correct report from al-Thawrī is from ʿUmar the freedman of Ghufrah, from a man, from Ḥudhayfah, and the correct version is the one stopping at Ibn ʿUmar (mawqūf).

رجاله من رجال الصحيح إلا أن له علتين الأولى الاختلاف في بعض رواته عن عبد العزيز بن أبي حازم وهو زكريا بن منظور فرواه عن عبد العزيز بن أبي حازم فقال عن نافع عن ابن عمر والأخرى ما ذكره المنذري وغيره من أن سنده منقطع لأن أبا حازم لم يسمع من ابن عمر فالجواب عن الثانية أن أبا الحسن بن القطان القابسي الحافظ صحح سنده فقال إن أبا حازم عاصر ابن عمر فكان معه بالمدينة ومسلم يكتفي في الاتصال بالمعاصرة فهو صحيح على شرطه وعن الأولى بأن زكريا وصف بالوهم فلعله وهم فأبدل راويا بآخر وعلى تقدير أن لا يكون وهم فيكون لعبد العزيز فيه شيخان وإذا تقرر هذا لا يسوغ الحكم بأنه موضوع ولعل مستند من أطلق عليه الوضع تسميتهم المجوس وهم مسلمون
