Abū ʿĪsā said: The hadith of Ibn ʿAbbās is a good and sound (ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ) hadith, and it is acted upon by some of the people of knowledge among the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ and others. Al-Shāfiʿī, Aḥmad and Isḥāq hold this view. A group of the people of knowledge among the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ and others held that prayer is permissible after the two Eid prayers and before them. The first view is more sound (aṣaḥḥ).
