✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: "O Abu Dharr," I said: At your service and at your pleasure, O Messenger of Allah. He said: "How will you be when people are struck by hunger, and you come to your bed but cannot return to your mosque, and you come to your mosque but cannot return to your bed?" He said: I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: "Keep to chastity." He said: "How will you be when people are struck by much death, so that a house - meaning a grave - will be for a servant?" He said: I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: "Keep to patience." Then he said: "How will you be when you see the stones of al-Zayt sunk in blood?" He said: I said: Allah and His Messenger know best, or: What Allah and His Messenger have chosen for me. He said: "Keep to those you belong to," or "Join those you belong to."
