✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ was on a journey, and Bilal was with him. He wanted to announce the iqama, so the Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Delay.' Then he wanted to announce the iqama, and he said: 'Delay.' Then he wanted to announce the iqama, and he said: 'Delay' three times—that is, for the noon prayer—until we saw the shade of the hillocks. Then he announced the iqama and the Messenger of God ﷺ prayed. Then he said: 'The intense heat is from the scorching breath of Hell, so delay the prayer.'
