✧ Hudhayfah asked for water, and a village chief brought him a silver vessel, so he threw it at him and said: "I only did this because I had warned him about it. The Messenger of God ﷺ forbade drinking from vessels of gold and silver, and wearing silk brocade and silk. And he said: 'It is for them in this world and for you in the Hereafter.'"
