حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ أَبِي شُجَاعٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ، عَنْ حَنَشٍ، عَنْ فَضَالَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِقِلَادَةٍ فِيهَا خَرَزَةٌ مُعَلَّقَةٌ بِذَهَبٍ، فَاشْتَرَاهَا رَجُلٌ بِسَبْعَةِ - أَوْ تِسْعَةِ - دَنَانِيرَ، فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: لَا، حَتَّى يُمَيَّزَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was brought a necklace containing a bead mounted in gold. A man bought it for seven — or nine — dinars, and mentioned that to the Prophet ﷺ, who said: 'No, not until it is separated, the one from the other.'
