حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَا سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْأَمَةِ الَّتِي لَمْ تُحْصَنْ فَقَالَ «إِذَا زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا ثُمَّ إِذَا زَنَتْ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوْ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ شَكَّ الزُّهْرِيُّ فَبِيعُوهَا وَلَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ»

✧ From Abu Hurayrah and Zayd b. Khalid al-Juhani, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about a slave woman who had not been previously married. He said, "If she commits fornication, flog her. Then if she commits fornication a third or fourth time—al-Zuhri was uncertain—sell her, even for a rope of hair."
