✧ He said: We came with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until when we were at al-Kadid, they began asking permission from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to go to their families, and he would give them permission. He said: "What is the matter with the side of the tree that is next to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ being more hateful to you than the other side?" After that, none of the people were seen except weeping. Then a man from the people said: "O Messenger of Allah, the one who asks your permission after this is indeed foolish." Then he praised Allah and extolled Him with good, then said: "I bear witness before Allah: no servant who bears witness that there is no deity but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, truthfully from his heart, and then remains upright, will die except that he will be led thereby into Paradise. And my Lord has promised me to admit into Paradise seventy thousand of my community, with no reckoning upon them and no punishment. And I hope that you will not enter until you, and the righteous among your spouses and your children, have taken up dwellings in Paradise."
