حَدَّثَنَا الْحَضْرَمِيُّ وَثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ قَالَا ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ ثنا بَقِيَّةُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو يُوسُفَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حَسَّانَ بْنَ أَبِي جَابِرٍ السُّلَمِيَّ قَالَ
كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِالطَّائِفِ فَرَأَى رِجَالًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ قَدْ حَمَّرُوا لِحَاهُمْ وَصَفَّرُوا لِحَاهُمْ فَقَالَ «مَرْحَبًا بِالْمُصَفِّرِينَ وَالْمُحَمِّرِينَ»

✧ I was with the Messenger of God ﷺ at al-Ta’if, and he saw men among his companions who had dyed their beards red and dyed their beards yellow, so he said: “Welcome to those who dyed yellow and those who dyed red.”
