حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْخَفَّافُ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ أَخْبَرَنِي رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ أَبِي مُرَاوِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ اللهُ ﷻ إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَا الْمَالَ لِإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ وَلَوْ كَانَ لِابْنِ آدَمَ وَادٍ لَأَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ وَادِيَانِ وَلَوْ كَانَ لَهُ وَادِيَانِ لَأَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ إِلَيْهِمَا ثَالِثٌ وَلَا يَمْلَأُ جَوْفَ ابْنِ آدَمَ إِلَّا التُّرَابُ وَيَتُوبُ اللهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah, Exalted is He, said, 'We sent down wealth for the establishment of prayer and the giving of zakat. If the son of Adam had a valley, he would love to have two valleys. If he had two valleys, he would love to have a third. Nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust, and Allah turns to whoever repents.'
