حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا يَحْيَى عَنْ ثَوْرٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الثُّمَالِيِّ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَعَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الثُّمَالِيِّ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُمَا «صَلَّيَا مَعَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ الصُّبْحَ فَقَرَأَ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ فَسَجَدَ فِيهَا»

✧ On the authority of 'Abd Allah b. 'Amir al-Thumali, who was one of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, and on the authority of al-Hajjaj b. 'Amir al-Thumali, who was one of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, that they both prayed the morning prayer with 'Umar b. al-Khattab ؓ, and he recited, "When the sky is split asunder," and prostrated in it.
