حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ
عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ؓ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنِّي تَارِكٌ فِيكُمْ مَا إِنْ أَخَذْتُمْ بِهِ لَنْ تَضِلُّوا بَعْدِي أَمْرَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا أَكْبَرُ مِنَ الْآخَرِ كِتَابَ اللهِ حَبَلٌ مَمْدُودٌ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَعِتْرَتِي أَهْلَ بَيْتِي وَإِنَّهُمَا لَنْ يَفْتَرِقَا حَتَّى يَرِدَا عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ

✧ "Narrated by Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri, the Prophet ﷺ said, 'O people, I am leaving behind among you two things, if you hold onto them, you will never go astray after me: the Book of Allah, which is a stretched rope between the heaven and the earth, and my family, the people of my household. Indeed, they will not part ways until they meet me at the Pond of Kawthar.'"
