حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَارِمٌ قَالَا ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ قَالَ
بَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ إِذْ صَعِدَ إِلَيْهِ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ؓ فَضَمَّهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ ابْنِي هَذَا سَيِّدٌ وَلَعَلَّ اللهَ ﷻ أَنْ يُصْلِحَ بِهِ بَيْنَ فِئَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ»

✧ While the Prophet ﷺ was delivering a sermon, al-Hasan b. 'Ali ؓ climbed up to him, and the Prophet ﷺ embraced him and said: “This son of mine is a master, and perhaps God ﷻ will bring about reconciliation through him between two factions of the Muslims.”
