حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ وَحَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَا ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ثنا ابْنُ هُبَيْرَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا تَمِيمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيُّ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَالِكٍ حَدَّثَهُ
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا بَصْرَةَ الْغِفَارِيَّ يَقُولُ صَلَّى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْعَصْرَ بِالْمُخَمَّصِ وَادٍ مِنْ بَعْضِ أَوْدِيَتِهِمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ «إِنَّ هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةَ عُرِضَتْ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ فَتَرَكُوهَا أَلَا وَمَنْ صَلَّاهَا ضُعِّفَ لَهُ أَجْرُهَا وَلَا صَلَاةَ بَعْدَهَا حَتَّى تَرَوُا الشَّاهِدَ» وَهُوَ النَّجْمُ

✧ That he heard Abu Basrah al-Ghifari say: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in the ‘Asr prayer at al-Mukhammas, a valley among some of their valleys, then he said, “This prayer was presented to those before you, but they neglected it. Behold, whoever prays it, his reward is doubled, and there is no prayer after it until you see the witness” — and that is the star.
