حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ هُبَيْرَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا تَمِيمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَالِكٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَمْرَو بْنَ الْعَاصِ يَقُولُ
أَخْبَرَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ قَدْ زَادَكُمْ صَلَاةً فَصَلُّوهَا فِيمَا بَيْنَ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ الْوِتْرَ الْوِتْرَ» أَلَا وَإِنَّهُ أَبُو بَصْرَةَ الْغِفَارِيُّ

✧ A man from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ informed me that he heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Indeed, Allah has added a prayer for you, so pray it between the 'Isha prayer and the Witr prayer. Indeed, it is the Witr prayer." And know that he is Abu Basrah al-Ghifari.
