حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ هَارُونَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّرْجُمَانِيُّ ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُدْرِكٍ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَمْسَحُ الرَّجُلُ جَبْهَتَهُ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ وَلَا بَأْسَ أَنْ يَمْسَحَ الْعَرَقَ عَنْ صُدْغَيْهِ فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ مَا دَامَ أَثَرُ السُّجُودِ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “A man should not wipe his forehead until he finishes his prayer, but there is no harm in wiping sweat from his temples, for the angels continue to pray for him as long as the trace of prostration is between his eyes.”
