حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ يَقُولُ «لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الْأَمْرُ ظَاهِرًا عَلَى مَنْ نَاوَأَهُ لَا يَضُرَّهُ مُخَالِفٌ وَلَا مَفَارِقٌ حَتَّى يَمْضِيَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ»

✧ I have heard the Prophet ﷺ saying in the Farewell Pilgrimage, "This matter will always remain apparent to anyone who seeks it, unaffected by any opposing or deviant individuals, until there have been twelve Caliphs from the Quraysh."
