حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَأَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ قَالَا ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ثنا مُجَالِدٌ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمًا فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «لَنْ يَزَالَ هَذَا الدِّينُ عَزِيزًا مَنِيعًا ظَاهِرًا عَلَى مَنْ نَاوَأَهُ حَتَّى يَمْلِكَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ كُلُّهُمْ» ثُمَّ لَغَطَ النَّاسُ وَتَكَلَّمُوا فَلَمْ أَفْهَمْ قَوْلَهُ بَعْدَ كُلُّهُمْ فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي يَا أَبَتَاهُ مَا بَعْدَ قَوْلِهِ كُلُّهُمْ؟ قَالَ «كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon one day, and I heard him say, "This religion will always be strong, preventing anyone who opposes it, until twelve will rule it, all of them from Quraysh." Then the people became confused and started discussing, and I did not understand what he meant by "all of them". So I asked my father, "Oh my father, what did he mean by 'all of them'?" He said, "All of them will be from Quraysh."
