حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثنا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سُلَيْمَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْمِقْدَادَ بْنَ الْأَسْوَدِ يَقُولُ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَبْقَى عَلَى وَجْهِ الْأَرْضِ بَيْتُ مَدَرٍ وَلَا وَبِرٍ إِلَّا أَدْخَلَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْإِسْلَامَ بِعِزِّ عَزِيزٍ وَبِذُلِّ ذَلِيلٍ إِمَّا يُعِزُّهُمْ وَيَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ وَإِمَّا يُذِلُّهُمْ فَيُؤَدُّوا الْجِزْيَةَ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “There will not remain on the face of the earth a house of mud or of hair but that Allah will bring Islam upon them either through the might of a mighty one or the humiliation of a humiliated one. Either He honors them and guides them to Islam, or He humiliates them and they pay the jizyah.”
