حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ
ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنِ الْمِقْدَادِ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَسْأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ إِذَا دَنَا مِنِ امْرَأَتِهِ فَخَرَجَ مِنْهُ الْمَذْيُ مَاذَا عَلَيْهِ؟ فَإِنَّ عِنْدِيَ ابْنَتَهُ وَأَنَا أَسْتَحِيِي أَنْ أَسْأَلَهُ قَالَ الْمِقْدَادُ فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ «إِذَا وَجَدَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَنْضَحْ فَرْجَهُ وَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلَاةِ»

✧ Al-Qaʿnabi narrated to us from Malik; and Bakr b. Sahl narrated to us, ʿAbd Allah b. Yusuf narrated to us, all of them from Malik b. Anas, from Abu al-Nadr, from Sulayman b. Yasar, from al-Miqdad, that ʿAli ordered him to ask the Prophet ﷺ about a man who approaches his wife and emits madhy—what is incumbent upon him? For his daughter is with me, and I feel shy to ask him. Al-Miqdad said: "So I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about that, and he said: 'When one of you experiences that, let him wash his private part and perform wuduʾ as he does for prayer.'"
