حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْخَفَّافُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ثنا يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَخْبَرَهُ «أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُصَلُّونَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَيَنْصَرِفُونَ إِلَى أَهْلِيهِمْ وَيَرْجِعُونَ إِلَى بَنِي سَلَمَةَ وَهُمْ يُبْصِرُونَ مَوَاقِعَ النَّبْلِ حِينَ يُرْمَى بِهَا» هَكَذَا رَوَاهُ يُونُسُ ? عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ? عَنِ ابْنِ كَعْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

✧ A man from the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ reported to him that they used to pray with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and then depart to their families; and they would return to the Banu Salamah while they could still see the places where arrows struck when they were shot. This is how Yunus narrated it from Ibn Shihab, from Ibn Ka'b: A man from the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ reported to me.
