حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا حُرَيْثُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ ثنا الْحَسَنُ عَنْ حُمْرَانَ بْنِ أَبَانَ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ فَضُلَ عَنْ ظِلِّ بَيْتٍ وَجُرْفِ الْخُبْزِ وَثَوْبٍ يُوَارِي عَوْرَةَ الرَّجُلِ أَوْ قَالَ عَوْرَةَ ابْنِ آدَمَ وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ فَضُلَ عَنْ ذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لِابْنِ آدَمَ فِيهِ حَقٌّ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Anything that exceeds the shade of a house, a crust of bread, and a garment that covers a man's private parts"—or he said, "the private parts of the son of Adam"—"and anything that exceeds that, the son of Adam has no right to it."
