حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْأَحْمَرِ النَّاقِدُ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقُطَعِيُّ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ثنا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ قَالَ قَالَ عَطَاءٌ قَالَ
ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَسَمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ فِي أَصْحَابِهِ غَنَمًا فَأَصَابَ سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ تَيْسًا فَذَبَحَهُ عَنْ نَفْسِهِ فَلَمَّا وَقَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِعَرَفَةَ أَمَرَ رَبِيعَةَ بْنَ أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ خَلَفٍ فَقَامَ تَحْتَ يَدَيْ نَاقَتِهِ وَكَانَ رَجُلًا صَيِّتًا فَقَالَ اصْرُخْ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَتَدْرُونَ أَيَّ شَهْرٍ هَذَا؟ فَصَرَخَ فَقَالَ النَّاسُ الشَّهْرُ الْحَرَامُ فَقَالَ اصْرُخْ أَتَدْرُونَ أَيَّ بَلَدٍ هَذَا؟ قَالُوا الْبَلَدُ الْحَرَامُ قَالَ اصْرُخْ هَلْ تَدْرُونَ أَيَّ يَوْمٍ هَذَا؟ قَالُوا الْحَجُّ الْأَكْبَرُ فَقَالَ اصْرُخْ فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ قَدْ حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ كَحُرْمَةِ شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا وَكَحُرْمَةِ بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا وَكَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا» فَقَضَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَجَّهً فَقَالَ حِينَ وَقَفَ بِعَرَفَةَ «هَذَا الْمَوْقِفُ وَكُلُّ عَرَفَةَ مَوْقِفٌ» وَقَالَ حِينَ وَقَفَ عَلَى قُزَحٍ «هَذَا الْمَوْقِفُ وَكُلُّ مُزْدَلِفَةَ مَوْقِفٌ»

✧ Ibn Abbas: The Messenger of God ﷺ distributed spoils among his companions that day, and Saʿd b. Abi Waqqas received a goat, which he slaughtered for himself. When the Messenger of God ﷺ stood at ʿArafa, he ordered Rabiʿa b. Umayya b. Khalaf, who stood beneath the bridle of his she-camel and was a man with a loud voice, saying: "Cry out, O people, do you know which month this is?" So he cried out and the people said: "The sacred month." Then he said: "Cry out, do you know which land this is?" They said: "The sacred land." He said: "Cry out, do you know which day this is?" They said: "The greater pilgrimage." He said: "Cry out." So he said: "The Messenger of God ﷺ says: God ﷻ has made your blood and your property sacred, like the sanctity of this month of yours, like the sanctity of this land of yours, and like the sanctity of this day of yours." Then the Messenger of God ﷺ completed his pilgrimage and said when he stood at ʿArafa: "This is the standing place, and all of ʿArafa is a standing place." And he said when he stood at Quzah: "This is the standing place, and all of Muzdalifa is a standing place."
