حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ثنا وَرْقَاءُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
نَسخَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ عِدَّتُهَا فِي أَهْلِهَا تَعْتَدُّ حَيْثُ شَاءَتْ قَوْلُ اللهِ ﷻ {غَيْرَ إِخْرَاجٍ} قَالَ عَطَاءٌ إِنْ شَاءَتِ اعْتَدَّتْ فِي أَهْلِهِ وَإِنْ شَاءَتْ خَرَجَتْ لِقَوْلِ اللهِ ﷻ {فَإِنْ خَرَجْنَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا فَعَلْنَ فِي أَنْفُسِهِنِّ}

✧ This verse abrogated her waiting period: she observes it in her family wherever she wishes, the words of God ﷻ {without being expelled}. ʿAtaʾ said: If she wishes, she observes the waiting period with her family, and if she wishes, she leaves, because of the words of God ﷻ {but if they leave, there is no blame upon you for what they do with themselves}.
