✧ I said: O Messenger of God, all your wives have entered the House except me. He said: "Go to your relative, to Shaybah, and let him open the door for you, then enter it." So I sent to him: The Prophet of God has permitted me that you open the door for me so I may enter it. He said: Did the Prophet of God ﷺ command you that? I said: Yes. So he took the keys and came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Messenger of God, did you command ʿAʾishah that the door be opened for her? He said: "Yes." He said: No, by God, I have never opened it at night, neither in the Time of Ignorance nor in Islam. He said: "Then consider what you used to do and do it, and what you would not do, then do not do it. And you, O ʿAʾishah, go and pray two rakʿahs in the Hijr, for a portion of it is part of the House, and your people fell short in funds, so they left out a portion of the House."
