حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ قَالَ: نَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: نَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُصْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ:
صَلَّى رَجُلٌ خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَجَعَلَ يَرْكَعُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ، وَيَرْفَعُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قَالَ: " مَنِ الْفَاعِلُ هَذَا ؟ " قَالَ: أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ أَدْرِيَ أَتَعْلَمُ ذَلِكَ أَمْ لَا ؟ فَقَالَ: اتَّقُوا خِدَاجَ الصَّلَاةِ، إِذَا رَكَعَ الْإِمَامُ فَارْكَعُوا، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ فَارْفَعُوا

✧ A man prayed behind the Prophet ﷺ and began to bow before he bowed and rise before he rose. When the Prophet ﷺ finished, he said: Who did this? He said: I, O Messenger of God; I wanted to know whether you were aware of that or not. He said: Beware of incompleteness in prayer; when the imam bows, bow, and when he rises, rise.
