حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْحَرَّانِيُّ قَالَ: نَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الْخَلَّالُ قَالَ: نَا الْيَقْظَانُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَمَّارَ بْنَ يَاسِرٍ، يَقُولُ:
كُنَّا جُلُوسًا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي عِدَّةٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ: أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرُ، وَعُثْمَانُ، وَعَلِيٌّ، وَطَلْحَةُ، وَالزُّبَيْرُ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ، وَمُعَاذٌ، وَحُذَيْفَةُ، وَسَعْدٌ، بَعْدَ الْهِجْرَةِ بِثَمَانِ سِنِينَ فِي السَّنَةِ التَّاسِعَةِ، فَسَأَلَهُ حُذَيْفَةُ: فِدَاكَ أَبِي وَأُمِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ

✧ We were sitting with the Prophet ﷺ among a number of his companions: Abū Bakr, ʿUmar, ʿUthmān, ʿAlī, Ṭalḥah, al-Zubayr, ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. ʿAwf, Muʿādh, Ḥudhayfah, and Saʿd, eight years after the Hijrah, in the ninth year. Ḥudhayfah asked him: May my father and mother be ransomed for you, O Messenger of God.
