حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ قَالَ: نَا هُرَيْمُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الرَّاسِبِيُّ, قَالَ: نَا سُوَيْدٌ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ
أَنَّ امْرَأَةً جَاءَتْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَحُجُّ عَنْ أُمِّي، فَقَدْ مَاتَتْ ؟ قَالَ: أَرَأَيْتِ إِنْ كَانَ عَلَيْهَا دَيْنٌ فَقَضَيْتِيهِ، أَلَيْسَ قَدْ كَانَ مَقْبُولًا مِنْكِ ؟ " قَالَتْ: بَلَى فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَحُجَّ عَنْهَا، وَجَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ فَقَالَتْ: أَحُجُّ بِابْنِي وَهُوَ مُرْضَعٌ أَوْ صَغِيرٌ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ

✧ A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, “O Messenger of Allah, should I perform Hajj on behalf of my mother? She has died.” He said, “Do you think if she had a debt and you paid it, would it not be accepted from you?” She said, “Yes.” So he instructed her to perform Hajj on her behalf. Another woman came and said, “Should I perform Hajj with my son while he is nursing or small?” He said, “Yes.”
