حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَ: نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عِيسَى التُّنُوخِيُّ قَالَ: نَا زِيَادُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ فُرَاتٍ الْقَزَّازُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْفُرَاتِ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ عَامِرِ بْنِ وَاثِلَةَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ قَالَ:
كُنْتُ غُلَامًا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ: انْطَلِقُوا بِنَا إِلَى إِنْسَانٍ قَدْ رَأَيْنَا شَأْنَهُ، قَالَ: فَانْطَلَقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَمْشِي وَأَصْحَابُهُ مَعَهُ، حَتَّى دَخَلُوا حَائِطَيْنِ فِي زُقَاقٍ طَوِيلٍ، وَانْتَهَوْا إِلَى بَابٍ صَغِيرٍ فِي أَقْصَى الزُّقَاقِ، فَدَخَلُوا إِلَى دَارٍ، فَلَمْ يَرَوْا فِي الدَّارِ أَحَدًا غَيْرَ امْرَأَةٍ قَاعِدَةٍ، وَإِذَا قِرْبَةٌ عَظِيمَةٌ مَلْأَى مَاءً، فَقَالُوا: نَرَى قِرْبَةً وَلَا نَرَى حَامِلَهَا، فَكَلَّمُوا الْمَرْأَةَ، فَأَشَارَتْ إِلَى قَطِيفَةٍ فِي نَاحِيَةِ الدَّارِ، فَقَالَتِ: انْظُرُوا مَا تَحْتَ الْقَطِيفَةِ فَكَشَفُوهَا، فَإِذَا تَحْتَهَا إِنْسَانٌ، فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " شَاهَ الْوَجْهُ "، فَقَالَ: يَا مُحَمَّدُ، لِمَ تَفْحَشُ عَلَيَّ ؟ قَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " إِنِّي قَدْ خَبَأْتُ لَكَ خَبْأً، فَأَخْبِرْنِي مَا هُوَ ؟ " وَقَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ: " إِنِّي قَدْ خَبَأْتُ لَهُ سُورَةَ الدُّخَانِ " فَقَالَ: سُورَةُ الدُّخَانِ ؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " اخْسَأْ، مَا شَاءَ اللهُ كَانَ "، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ

✧ I was a boy during the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ. One day the Messenger of God ﷺ said, "Let us go to a person whose affair we have seen." He said: The Messenger of God ﷺ set out walking with his Companions, until they entered two gardens in a long alley, and they came to a small door at the far end of the alley. They entered a house, and saw no one in the house except a woman sitting. There was a huge waterskin full of water. They said, "We see a waterskin but do not see its carrier." They spoke to the woman, and she pointed to a velvet cloth in a corner of the house and said, "Look what is under the velvet cloth." They uncovered it, and under it there was a person. He raised his head, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "Ugly is the face!" He said, "O Muhammad, why do you speak obscenely to me?" The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "I have hidden something for you, so tell me what it is." And he said to his Companions, "I have hidden for him Surah al-Dukhan." He said, "Surah al-Dukhan?" The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Be gone! What God wills happens." Then he left.
