حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ: نَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ الْعَمِّيُّ قَالَ: نَا مُطِيعُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنَا صَفِيَّةُ بِنْتُ عِصْمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:
سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: هَلْ تَخْرُجُ النِّسَاءُ فِي الْعِيدِ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ، قِيلَ: فَالْعَاتِقُ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهَا ثَوْبٌ تَلْبَسُهُ، فَلْتَلْبَسْ ثَوْبَ صَاحِبَتِهَا

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was asked, “Do women go out on the day of Eid?” He said, “Yes.” It was said, “What about a young woman who has not yet married?” He said, “Yes, and if she does not have a garment to wear, let her borrow the garment of her companion.”
