✧ A woman stretched out her hand to the Prophet ﷺ with a letter, and he withdrew his hand. She said, “O Messenger of God, I stretched out my hand to you with a letter, and you did not take it.” He said, “I do not know whether it is the hand of a woman or the hand of a man.” She said, “Rather, it is the hand of a woman.” He said, “If you were a woman, you would have dyed your nails with henna.”
