حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ: نَا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ مُوسَى بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: نَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي زُمَيْلٍ سِمَاكِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ الْحَنَفِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، دَعْنِي أَضْرِبْ عُنُقَ حَاطِبِ بْنِ أَبِي بَلْتَعَةَ، فَقَدْ كَفَرَ. قَالَ: وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ يَا ابْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، لَعَلَّ اللهَ قَدِ اطَّلَعَ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ فَقَالَ: اعْمَلُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ، فَقَدْ غَفَرْتُ لَكُمْ
