✧ Umm Ayman gifted the Prophet ﷺ a bird between two loaves of bread. The Prophet ﷺ came and said, “Do you have anything?” She brought him the bird, so he raised his hands and said, “O Allah, bring me the most beloved of Your creation to You to eat with me from this bird.” Then ‘Ali came, so I said, “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ is busy; the Prophet ﷺ just entered a moment ago.” But the Prophet ﷺ cut something from the bird, then raised his hand and said, “O Allah, bring me the most beloved of Your creation to You to eat with me from this bird.” Then ‘Ali came, and the voice rose between me and him, so the Prophet ﷺ said, “Let him in, whoever he is,” and he entered. Then the Prophet ﷺ said, “O my Lord, my ally,” three times. So he ate with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until they both finished.
