"مَنْ كَانَتْ نِيَّتُهُ طَلَبَ الدُّنْيَا شَتَّتَ الله علَيه أَمْرَهُ، وَجَعَلَ الْفَقْر بَينَ عَينَيهِ، وَلَمْ يَأتِه مِن الدُّنْيَا إِلا مَا كُتِبَ لَهُ، وَمَنْ كَانَتْ نِيَّتُهُ طَلَبَ الآخِرَةِ جَمَعَ الله شَمْلَهُ وَجَعَل غِنَاهُ في قَلْبِهِ، وَأَتَتْهُ الدُّنْيَا وَهِيَ رَاغِمَةٌ".
Translation
✧ "Whoever's intention is to seek the worldly life, Allah will scatter his affairs, and place poverty between his eyes, and nothing of the world will come to him except what has been written for him. And whoever's intention is to seek the Hereafter, Allah will gather his affairs, place wealth in his heart, and the worldly life will come to him willingly."
