Excellence of Leading an Ascetic Life, and Virtues of Simple Life
- وعن أبي سعيد الخدري، رضي الله عنه، قال: جلس رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، على المنبر، وجلسنا حوله، فقال: "إن مما أخاف عليكم من بعدي ما يفتح عليكم من زهرة الدنيا وزينتها” ((متفق عليه)).
Translation
Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) sat on the pulpit and we sat around him. He said: "What I am concerned most is the flourishment and the beauty of this world will be available to you". [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
