✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat on the pulpit and we sat around him. He said: 'Among what I fear for you after me is what will be opened to you of the splendor - and he mentioned the world and its adornment.' A man said: 'Can good bring evil?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained silent, so it was said to him: 'What is the matter with you? You speak to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he does not speak to you?' He said: 'We saw that revelation was descending upon him.' Then he recovered, wiping the sweat, and said: 'Is the questioner present? It is - and I did not understand as I intended - good does not bring evil. Among what the spring grows, some kills or nearly kills, except the animal that eats green herbage, for it eats until its sides are full, then faces the sun, defecates, urinates, and returns to graze. This wealth is green and sweet, and excellent is the Muslim's companion if he gives from it to the orphan, the poor, and the wayfarer. But whoever takes it without right is like one who eats and never satisfies, and it will be a witness against him on the Day of Resurrection.'
