That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say: allāhumma laka aslamtu, wa-bika āmantu, wa-ʿalayka tawakkaltu, wa-ilayka anabtu, wa-bika khāṣamtu. allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bi-ʿizzatika, lā ilāha illā anta, an tuḍillanī. anta al-ḥayy alladhī lā yamūtu, wa-al-jinnu wa-al-insu yamūtūn. (O Allah, to You I have submitted, in You I have believed, upon You I have relied, to You I have turned in repentance, and by You I have argued. O Allah, I seek refuge in Your might—there is no god but You—from You leading me astray. You are the Ever-Living who does not die, while the jinn and humankind die.)
