When two-thirds of the night had passed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would rise and say: "O people, remember Allah! Remember Allah! The Quaking has come, followed by the Successive One. Death has come with all that it contains! Death has come with all that it contains!" Ubayy said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I frequently send prayers of blessings upon you. How much of my dua should I devote to you?" He replied: "As much as you wish." I asked, "One-quarter?" He replied: "As much as you wish, but if you increase it, that will be better for you." I asked, "One-half?" He replied: "As much as you wish, but if you increase it, that will be better for you." I asked, "Then two-thirds?" He replied: "As much as you wish, but if you increase it, that will be better for you." I asked, "Should I devote all of my dua to you?" He replied: "Then your concerns will be taken care of, and your sins will be forgiven."
