✧ al-Tufayl bin Abi bin Ka'b, from his father

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ الطُّفَيْلِ بْنِ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ جَعَلْتُ صَلَاتِي كُلَّهَا عَلَيْكَ؟ قَالَ: إِذًا يَكْفِيَكَ اللهُ [تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى] مَا أَهَمَّكَ مِنْ دُنْيَاكَ وَآخِرَتِكَ

Translation

A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, what do you suggest if I were to dedicate all of my ṣalāt (duʿāʾ) for you?" He said, "˹If you do this˺ Allah will make it sufficient for what concerns you in this world or your Hereafter."
