"Makhrafah Al' Abdi and I brought linens from Hajar[1] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us to bargain with us with some trousers. There was someone with me who weighed (the goods) in exchange for a wage. So the Prophet ﷺ said to the one weighing: 'Weigh and add more.'"

What scholars said about it
In their own words, as Hadith Unlocked records them. They are shown, not summarised into a grade.
- Abū Ḥatim al-Rāzī
machine translation"Which of the two is more correct in your view?" They both said: "Sufyān is the better memorizer of the two men." Then they said: "And Qays b. al-Rabīʿ, despite his weakness, corroborated Sufyān in this hadith." So I said to them: "Did anyone corroborate Shuʿbah in this hadith?" My father said: "I do not know of anyone." Abū Zurʿah said: "ʿAmr b. Abī al-Miqdām corroborated him on it, despite his weakness."
machine translationAyyūb b. Jābir narrated it from Simāk from Mukhrifah al-ʿAbdī or Makhramah, with doubt from Muḥammad b. Bakkār b. Rayyān, from Ayyūb b. Jābir. Likewise Yaḥyā b. Yaʿlā al-Aslamī said, from al-Thawrī, from Simāk, from Mukhrifah al-ʿAbdī. But the preserved (maḥfūẓ) version from Qays b. al-Rabīʿ, Sharīk and al-Thawrī is from Simāk from Suwayd b. Qays, who said: "I and Mukhrifah al-ʿAbdī brought burnouses from Bahrain," and this is the correct (ṣaḥīḥ) one. Shuʿbah narrated it from Simāk and also erred in it, saying from Simāk: "I heard Abū Ṣafwān Mālik b. ʿUmayrah," while the correct one is Suwayd b. Qays.
